It is important to stay hydrated and take it easy at this high altitude to avoid altitude sickness. The lodge at ThorongPhedi is basic but comfortable, with hot food and drinks available. You may also want to do some light exercises to keep your body active and prepare for the next day’s trek. If you decide to continue to High Camp, you will have a shorter and easier trek to the pass the next day. However, keep in mind that the altitude at High Camp is even higher, so it's important to listen to your body and take necessary precautions to avoid altitude sickness.
