Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

EXPLORIST.CA, a division of GOSHOPLOCAL.COM Inc. is an e-commerce Marketplace registered in CANADA with head office address 208-8135-102 st. Edmonton, Alberta T6E-4A4; herein called EXPLORIST

EXPLORIST allows VENDORS to operate an online store within the Explorist.ca Marketplace Platform to sell products and services on EXPLORIST Marketplace.

Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

All Uploaded material by the VENDOR must not:

1. Be defamatory of any person;
2. Contain material which is obscene, discriminatory, offensive, hateful, threatening or inflammatory;
3. Infringe any copyright, database right or trademark of any other person(s);
4. Be likely to deceive any person;
5. Promote any illegal activity;
6. Be likely to harass, upset, embarrass, alarm or annoy any other person;
7. Be used to impersonate any person, or to misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person;
8. Furthermore the following activities are prohibited: Child Exploitation, spam, implied or promoted support for a terrorist organization, restricted items, promotion of self-harm, and to display any COVID-19 goods and services that do not comply with Health Canada Standards.

AUP: Controls and Monitoring

Explorist.ca controls and monitors all VENDORS by:

1. Approve/reject their application upon review and before Vendor is granted access to their personalized store within our Marketplace
2. All products and services uploaded to the Marketplace are reviewed and manually approved by Explorist.ca before they are allowed to become LIVE on the Platform.
3. Furthermore if individual products are changed, upgraded or in any way altered; the product or service automatically becomes HIDDEN and Explorist.ca will again have to approve the product before it is allowed to go LIVE.
4. From time to time specific audits will be conducted on specific VENDORS as situations arise.

AUP: Controls and Monitoring

All material a user uploads to the Site will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary. We also have the right to disclose a user’s identity to any third party who is claiming that any material posted or uploaded by such user constitutes a violation of their intellectual property rights, or of their right to privacy. We will not be responsible for the content or accuracy of any materials posted by users.

We may, at any time and without notice, remove any Materials, and suspend or terminate your Account if you engage in activities that violate this AUP.

Explorist.ca. monitors the VENDOR use of their respective online stores at any time for compliance with this AUP. Initially any product addition to any VENDOR on the Marketplace is reviewed by Explorist.ca. and ongoing throughout the lifecycle of the products. Furthermore, our determination of whether a violation of this AUP has occurred will be final and binding. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of so refusing or by reason of unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun. By continuing to use the Services and access to your Account you agree to comply with the latest version of the AUP.
