What To Expect

Day 1: Nairobi to Mara

• At 8 o'clock you will be picked up from your hotel/airport and commence the drive to Mara via the great rift valley view point where you will have a breathtaking view of the floor of the rift valley. Arrive Maasai Mara at the time for lunch. In the afternoon after you check in depart for a game viewing drive in the Mara Reserve.

Day 2: Full Day in Mara.

• Spend the full day exploring Mara in search of the Big Five. You will have picnic lunches in the Reserve under a croton shade tree as you scale the Mara beauty sited at the banks of Mara river. Optional: In the evening, Visit the Maasai village for a Maasai cultural tour at US 20. Learn about the Masai community and interact with the local Maasai people. A overnight at the Masai village can be organized upon request. A balloon safari at USD380 per person can be organized early morning on this day then proceed with the normal program. Day 3: Depart Maasai Mara to Nakuru
• LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

  Breakfast then depart for Lake Nakuru National park arriving in good time for lunch at the camp later afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is a shallow alkaline lake on the edges of Nakuru town. The lake is world famous as home to millions of flamingos. The number of flamingos depends on the water level which determines the quantity of algae on which the birds feed. Flamingos are known to migrate to other Rift Valley lakes whenever the water level is low. The National Park surrounds the lake and was gazetted to protect the colony of flamingos as well as provide sanctuary for endangered species such as the rhino. There are about 25 white and black rhinos, one of the largest concentrations in the country. Predators are also residents to this park while Rothschild's giraffe have been trans-located into the park for safety.

Day 4: Day 4: Nakuru to Naivasha
• Lake Naivasha

  Early breakfast and depart by 7am to straight to the park. Its a small park with magnificent, rare white rhinos which form part of the Big five animals. There is also a possibility to see the pink flamingos .The game drive lasts 3 hours, after which you depart for Naivasha. Arrive in time for lunch. After lunch, you will go on an hour boat ride on Lake Naivasha for bird watching and hippo viewing.

Day 5: Naivasha - Amboseli
• Amboseli National Park

  Early breakfast and check out of the hotel by 7:00am to proceed to Hells Gate National Park where you will start the biking Safari. Experience a Guided Tour as you watch different Animals Species as you bike. Have a guided walk in the gorge where you will visit the gorges inside the park. Some areas have formed caves where you can walk through. Finish the tours and bring the bikes back at the gate. Drive to Naivasha Kifaru restaurant or Mai Mahiu hotel for Lunch. Start of drive to Amboseli to arrive in the evening. Check in to the Lodge swim and relax. The game drive will be on the next day

Day 6: Amboseli Full day
• Amboseli National Park

  Early morning game drive can be taken in Amboseli when Mt. Kilimanjaro usually appears from its mantle of clouds, the game Proceeds to the area of Lake Amboseli, which is a wide salt pan, consisting of permanent swamps. This area has much game, large and small, high concentration of Elephant, rhino, buffalo, Burchell’s zebra, eland, Masai giraffe and small species of the antelope family, the common water buck, klipspringer, Grant’s gazelle, impala, topi. It also has a dry Pleistocene lake basin that houses a temporary lake, Lake Amboseli, after the rains. The waters from Mt. Kilimanjaro drain down the mountain under lava flows and surface in Amboseli, creating a green belt of swampland amidst dusty plains. Amboseli lacks the profusion of animal species found in the Mara, but the landscape provides limited cover so we have better chances of seeing some of the larger predators.
