What To Expect

    Day 1: Nairobi - Samburu National Park
  • Samburu National Reserve

    We depart Nairobi in the morning and drive south along the Central Kenya Highlands and arrive in Ashnil Aruba in time for lunch. You can spend the afternoon swimming and relaxing before we set off for an evening game drive, your first taste of wildlife encounter.The Samburu National Reserve is also the home of Kamunyak, a lioness famous for adopting oryx calves.

    • Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Samburu National Reserve
  • Samburu National Reserve

    After breakfast, we will depart for another morning game drive and return to the lodge for lunch followed by swimming, games, and relaxation. Late afternoon, we will set off this time, for an evening game drive until sunset to witness the serenity of this reserve.

    • Day 3: Samburu National Reserve to Lake Nakuru National Park
  • Lake Nakuru National Park

    Enjoy breakfast at the lodge and then head out for an early morning game drive on your journey (approximately 4-5 hours) to Nakuru town. Stop off at Nyahururu for lunch, enjoy the scenery along the way. After check-in at Flamingo Hill Camp, go on an evening game drive.

    • Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve
  • Maasai Mara National Reserve

    Enjoy breakfast and then check-out of the lodge. Experience a morning game drive as we travel approximately 3-4 hours to Maasai Mara National Reserve. Along the way have a chance to stop and visit Lake Naivasha. Arrive and check in at Zebra Plains Mara Camp for lunch, relax, freshen up and then head out for an evening game drive.

    • Day 5: Full Day in Masai Mara National Reserve
  • Maasai Mara National Reserve

    After breakfast depart for a full day spent, viewing the great predators and explore the parks amazingly high concentration of wild animals. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive Cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. During the stay we also have an optional opportunity to visit a village of the Masai people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals.
