What To Expect

    Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve
  • Maasai Mara National Reserve

    Pick up from your Nairobi hotel at around 8:00AM drive southwards along the floor of the Great Rift Valley with stop over at the view point arriving in time for lunch. Later proceed for evening game drive which is well known for its rich, tree studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Mara is also renowned for its great herds of plain game, black-maned lions, leopard and cheetah but also contains numerous elephant and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya.

  • Day 2: Masai Mara National Reserve Full Day

    After breakfast spend the full day exploring Masai Mara in search of the Big Five. You will have picnic lunches in the Reserve as you scale the Mara beauty sitted at the banks of Mara river. Optional: In the evening, Visit the local Masai village for a Masai cultural tour at USD20. Learn about the Masai community and interact with the local Masai people. A balloon safari at a discounted USD450 per person can be organised early morning on this day then proceed with the normal program. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas and vultures

  • Day 3: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

    A last game run in the picturesque Maasai Mara in the morning through the Rift Valley drive to Lake Nakuru, a shallow alkaline lake in the Rift Valley, renowned for its spectacular flamingo population as one of the world's greatest ornithological spectacles. Although Lake Nakuru is primarily a bird sanctuary, there are a considerable number of animals to be encountered, such as many large game animals such as zebras, elephants and gazelles, this is one of our best chances of seeing rhinos. Lake Nakuru National Park was the first place in Kenya selected as a rhino reserve. Here is one of the few places where we can see Rothschild's giraffes.
