3 Days Private Safari to Samburu National Reserve

Best of Samburu - Shaba National Reserve Road Safari From Nairobi takes you to Samburu Game Reserve situated in the hot and arid fringes of Kenya's vast Northern Frontier District. It is located 350 Kilometers north of Nairobi within Isiolo District). The Reserve is situated on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River in Kenya. This means plenty of water and trees to attract wildlife like elephant, lion, giraffe and zebra from the surrounding savannah plains. Leopards are also regularly spotted.

What To Expect

    Day 1: Nairobi - Samburu National Reserve
  • Samburu National Reserve

    Our driver guide will come to pick you from your Nairobi Hotel or Airport in the morning. We will travel by road to Kenya’s Northern Frontier District. Wild and rugged, Samburu is fiercely beautiful with its arid savannahs watered by the lovely Uaso Nyiro River. It is also one of Kenya’s most protected areas and home to species only found north of the equator, from the reticulated giraffe to Grevy’s zebras and Beisa oryxes. In the afternoon we explore the park in search for Lions, Leopard, Cheetah, Buffalos etc. Overnight at Ashnil Samburu Camp.

    • Day 2: Full Day Game Drive Samburu National Reserve
  • Samburu National Reserve

    Early morning game drive before returning to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast continue with a Morning game drive return to the camp in time for Lunch. Proceed for an afternoon game drive in the reserve. Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Samburu Camp or similar.
