Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, our representative will warmly receive you at the airport and bring you to your hotel. After checking-in, you will meet your guide and discuss the trip. In the evening, your guide will take your for a welcome dinner at one of the finest diners in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing and Restricted Area Permit procedure

Swaymbhunath
While your guide is preparing your permits for Manaslu Conservation Area and ACAP, youâll embark on a sightseeing tour of the Kathmandu Valley. Explore some of its unique UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Youâll get to visit the age-old Kathmandu Durbar Square, the Buddhist sites of Swoyambhunath and Boudhanath, and the Hindu temple of Pashupatinath. You can also prepare for the trek and buy equipment that are necessary for the trip.

Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Machha Khola (930m) by private vehicle

After an early breakfast, youâll embark on a scenic road journey to the northwest of Kathmandu. Youâll commute through the Trishuli Highway and numerous gorges to reach the quaint village of Arughat. The trek officially begins at Arughat. After a brief rest, youâll start trekking and advance to Soti Khola village in Gorkha district for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Trek from Machha Khola to Jagat (1370m)

Leaving Machha Khola, the trek will advance to the northern village of Jagat. The narrow trail passes through Tharo Khola before reaching Khorlabensi. A short hike from here, youâll arrive at the natural hot spring of Tatopani. Youâll cross Budhi Gandaki River and arrive at Dobhan. Crossing another bridge over the Yaru Khola, you arrive at Tharo Bharyang. After a short trek along the Budi Gandaki River, youâll arrive at Jagat.

Day 5: Trek from Jagat to Deng (1860m)

Nepal
Youâll begin the day by climbing over a rocky ridge to Salleri and then descend to Sirdibas. The trail continues upstream towards a long suspension bridge in Philim. From here, the trail continues north and advances along the millet fields to arrive at Ekle Bhatti. Youâll cross the Budhi Gandaki River and walk across the thick bamboo forests en route to Deng.

Day 6: Trek from Deng to Namrung (2540m)

From Deng, the trail goes upward and crosses Budhi Gandaki River and climb towards Rana. Youâll continue upwards and head west up the Budhi Gandaki valley. En route, youâll make a brief stop at Prok village which offers a beautiful sight of Shringi Himal (7161m). After crossing Budi Gandaki several times and passing Buddhist monasteries, youâll make your way towards Namrung.

Day 7: Trek from Namrung to Sama Gaon (3390m)

Leaving Namrung, the trail advances towards Sama Gaon. En route, you will get some great views of Ganesh Himal (7422m), Shringi Himal (7161m), and Himal Chuli (7893). Youâll make your way towards Lihi, a Buddhist village with many chortens and barley terrace fields. The trail crosses the side valley of Simnang Himal and further pass through Sho, Lho, and Shyala villages to arrive at Sama Village. The Manaslu (8163m) will be visible from here.

Day 8: Hike to Manaslu Base Camp (4400m)

A hike up to Manaslu base camp makes a great day trip from Samagaon. Youâll rather walk easy and acclimatize en route. The walk up from Samagaon to Manaslu Base Camp and back may take around 5 hours. The base camp serves as a vantage point to witness the entire Manaslu range and Mt. Himal Chuli (7893m). You can also visit the serene Birendra Lake on the way to the base camp. After exploring the base camp, youâll trek back to Samagaon.

Day 9: Trek from Sama Gaon to Samdo (3690m)

Manaslu
From Samagaon, youâll make your way towards Samdo village. Leaving Samagaon, the trail passes through Budhi Gandaki River and advances towards Larkya La Trail. Youâll pass through several Mani walls to arrive at Kermo Kharka. From here, youâll cross the river before making your way to Samdo via Kyonggma Kharka.

Day 10: Trek from Samdo to Dharamsala (4460m)

Leaving Samdo, youâll continue along the Larkya La trail and cross Budhi Gandaki River to arrive at Syacha Khola. You can also enjoy the views of the Naike Peak (6211m) as you head west. En route, the trail offers a beautiful sight of Larkya Glacier before climbing up to Dharmasala. Dharmasala is also known as Larkya Phedi.

Day 11: Trek from Dharamsala to Bimthang (3590m) via Larkya La Pass (5160m)

Today is the toughest part of the trek as you leave Dharmasala and climb Larkya La Pass (5160m). From Dharmasala, youâll ascend along the valley on the north side of the Larkya Glaciers while enjoying the scenic sights of Cho Danda and Larkya Peak (6249m). The last section of the pass encounters a steep climb from where you can enjoy the outstanding views of Himlung, Cheo, Manaslu, and Annapurna ranges. From here, youâll descend towards Bimthang village.

Day 12: Trek from Bimthang to Tilije (2300m)

The final day of our trek today we make our way back to Lukla from Namche. The journey is a pleasant one descending through the Sagarmatha National Park. Descending through the hamlets of Monjo and Jorsalle we exit the national park landing alongside the Dudh Koshi River. Up and over the suspension bridge, we cross several small hamlets including Bengkar, Phakding, and Chhuthawa on our way to Lukla.

Day 13: Trek from Tilije to Dharapani (1680m) and drive back to kathmandu

Manaslu
Leaving Tilije, youâll make your way south to the village of Tal. From here, youâll leave Manaslu region and enter the pristine Annapurna Conservation Area. Youâll encounter numerous exotic flora and fauna endemic to the Annapurna region. Youâll make your way across Dudh Khola and trek to Thonje village. After getting your permits checked at Dharapani, youâll trek further down to Karte village.
