What To Expect

    Day 1: Nairobi - Ngurunit
  • Ngurunit

    We will depart very early in the morning for our safari to explore the northern part of Kenya through Nanyuki, where we will have a short stopover at the equator crossing point. We will, later on, enjoy the beautiful farmlands of Timau to Isiolo for last-minute shopping and fuelling. From Isiolo, we will drive for approximately 230km to Ngurunit. The drive will be welcoming us to the beauty of the north, the scenic hills including the famous Mt Ololokwe, beautiful Samburu people, large herds of camels and other livestock. We will arrive in Ngurunit a remote area tucked away at the base of the Ndoto Mountains, a place you’ll seldom hear of, but that is incredibly beautiful. We will later set up our camp and have a bonfire. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at a local campsite.

  • Day 2: Ngurunit- Loiyangalani

    After early morning breakfast in Ngurunit, we will set off for Jade Sea (Lake Turkana), with The amazing views of the Turkana wind farm. The breeze of Lake Turkana will be Welcoming us in time for lunch Later on we will visit the El-Molo villages to learn more about their culture and their way of living. We will also pass through the desert Museum to learn more about archeological discovery activities that have been undertaken in the north.

  • Day 3: Loiyangalani- North Horr
  • North Horr

    After breakfast we will head to North Horr, arriving in good time for Lunch, after Shortrest we will proceed to the Catholic mission swimming Pool, later on the springs, Later at 5 pm we will visit the North Horr Dunes, we will enjoy hiking up and down as we wait for the sunset.

  • Day 4: North Horr- Kalacha – Chalbi Desert- Marsabit
  • Chalbi Desert

    After Breakfast we will head to Kalacha and thereafter. the journey leads you to a beautiful oasis at the edge of the Chalbi Desert which is the largest desert we have in Kenya. The vast landscapes and open desert will amaze you. The Chalbi Desert has a lot to offer in picturesque sceneries and tranquil oasis. We will later drive to Marsabit through Maikona arriving in time for Lunch. After a quick lunch we will proceed to Marsabit National Park for a visit to the amazingcraters of Mt Marsabit.
