What To Expect

Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara
• Maasai Mara National Reserve

  This park offers breathtaking views of wildlife and nature as seen in the film "Out of Africa", much of which was filmed from this wildlife sanctuary. An impressive feature is the annual migration of wildebeests, zebras and gazelles from the plains of the Serengeti that cross the Tanzanian border and rivers to reach the Mara grasslands from late June, tracked by predators: lion, leopard, cheetah, and hyena, and circled by vultures as their journey unfolds. You will have a two hours game-drive on this day after you arrive and check in the camp, then after the game-drive you will go back to the campsite

Day 2: Full day game drive at Maasai Mara
• Maasai Mara National Reserve

  After breakfast, proceed for a full day game viewing in this rich tree studded savannah grassland, which has over 450 species of wildlife, and great herds of wildebeests and zebras. It is very hard to miss spotting the Big 5 animals on this full day. This reserve is the best park in Kenya as it is covered by a rich network of roads which brings you closer to the animals for a close range viewing. You will have your lunch along Mara River, viewing the hippo pool and also where the great wildebeest migration takes place. In the evening go back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Maasai Mara to Lake Naivasha
• Maasai Mara National Reserve

  You will have a pre-breakfast game drive in the park, then come back to the camp or lodge, take breakfast then check out, proceed to Lake Naivasha. You will arrive in the park in the evening, check in to the hotel.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru
• Hell's Gate National Park

  After breakfast, visit Hell’s Gate National park, this is the only park that you can walk on foot or cycle in the park. There are many optional activities in this park which can be done at an extra cost. Later proceed for Lake Nakuru arriving in the evening.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru to Amboseli National Park
• Lake Nakuru National Park

  After breakfast proceed for a game drive in this bird sanctuary, this park is often referred to as the pink lake due to the presence a great number of birds’ species. Here you will see great flock of flamingoes and also other game animals like water buck, black and white rhino, buffaloes and zebras. Then later proceed to Amboseli National Park, arriving in the evening, check in to your camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Full Day at Amboseli National Park
• Amboseli National Park

  After breakfast you will have a full day game drive in this park which has swampy grounds in which elephants and hippos swim. This park commands a panoramic view of the tallest mountain in Africa, Mt Kilimanjaro. This park has an endless underground water supply filtered through thousands of volcanic rocks.
