6Days Amboseli, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara Camping Safari on Jeep

This multi-day tour will visit Kenya’s best safari parks. Travel to the Great Rift Valley, Masai Mara Game Reserve, Lake Nakuru for bird watching, and Amboseli national park with a view of Mount Kilimanjaro. Spend 2 nights at  Amboseli National Park, then to Lake Nakuru for 1 night and then to Masai Mara for 2 nights, returning to Nairobi on the sixth day.

What To Expect

    Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
  • Amboseli National Park

    You will be picked up from your hotel between 7:30-8:00am then travel to Amboseli National Park, arriving in the camp in time for lunch. Afterward, proceed to the afternoon game drive which will last until 6:30pm.

    • Day 2: Full day at Amboseli National Park
  • Amboseli National Park

    You will have the full day to explore the park, with a break to enjoy a picnic lunch. Amboseli National park is one of the most popular wildlife sanctuaries in Kenya. Amboseli National Park is often referred to as “The home of elephants"; some of the largest elephant herds are found here. The game park also contains vast groups of zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, and antelope. Also to be found in Amboseli are lions, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, and many species birds.

    • Day 3: Amboseli to Lake Nakuru National Park
  • Lake Nakuru National Park

    Leave Amboseli in the morning via Nairobi for lunch, then drive to the Great Rift Valley, stopping to view the scenery along the way. You will arrive at Lake Nakuru, also referred to as the Pink Lake, due to its number flamingos. You will arrive in the early evening and proceed to take a game drive, followed by dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru guest house. Lake Nakuru's claim to fame is anchored on its flamingos and the over 400 species of birds found here. The lake itself is a soda, or alkaline lake on the floor of the Rift Valley. The lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species.

    • Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve
  • Maasai Mara National Reserve

    Take an early-morning game drive, where you can watch and photograph birds and animals, the have breakfast and depart for Masai Mara. You will arrive there in time for lunch, then head out on an afternoon game drive.

    • Day 5: Full day at Masai Mara National Reserve
  • Maasai Mara National Reserve

    After breakfast, leave the camp and proceed for a whole day game drive. You will have a picnic lunch today, since you will also cover the Mara River. This is one of the famous rivers where the wildebeest migration takes place every year.
