  • Skoura

    After lunch, The scenic drive will take you past ancient kasbah ruins, former colonial military outposts, austere mountains, and valleys of palm trees and irrigated fields. where movies such as Lawrence of Arabia, The Sheltering Sky, and Black Hawk Down were filmed. Pass via Ouarzazate and stop at Skoura and discover Kasbah Amridil (a 12-century fortified Palace) and Skoura’s palmeraie (palm grove). Skoura has been dubbed ‘Oasis of 3000 Palms’. Under the green canopy, a 15-mile patchwork of plots is watered by an ingenious, centuries-old khettara (underground irrigation system) of canals, levers, and locks. According to legend, it was Amazigh pilgrims who brought back roses three centuries ago and planted them on the slopes of M’goun. Since then, the collection of semi-wild buds with a peppery scent has taken place every year in May and brings the whole valley to life. At the end of the harvest, the Mgouna tribes descend to Kelaa and gather for 3 days of jubilation where the rose water flows freely.

  • We Visit an Other Atlas Hidden Gem. The Todra Gorges. a deep ravine carved by the Todra River over millennia. where a 300m-deep fault splits the orange limestone into a deep ravine at some points just wide enough for a crystal-clear river and single-file trekkers to squeeze through. The road from Tinerhir passes green palmeraies (palm groves) and Berber villages until, 15km long, high walls of pink and grey rock close in around the road. The approach is thrilling, as though the doors of heaven were about to close before you.

  • Merzouga Desert

    After Lunch in Todra Gorges, We drive farther east, after several stops, arrive at Merzouga Desert dunes early this evening, your tour leader will help you communicate and interact with the welcoming locals. have the opportunity to enjoy a camel ride, Witness an incredible sunset, settle into your Sahara camp, where dunes rise and fall around you and feel the adventuresome spirit of explorers of old. Special Information The camp is a simple affair, with bedding and basic toilet facilities provided. The blankets provided are usually sufficient for most travelers between April and October, but you may like to bring your own sleeping bag for extra warmth, especially during the months between November and March. Electricity is not available in the camp therefore it’s important to come prepared with phones, cameras, and everything else you may need fully charged.

    Today, we leave the open desert Dunes behind and set off for Marrakesh. en route, Pause for lunch in Agdez Agdez. a classic caravanserai oasis with a still-pristine palmeraie (palm grove), ancient mudbrick kasbahs, and a secret desert prison. As you approach the town, you’ll see the tajine-shaped mountain Jebel Kissane on the horizon
