3 Days Olpejeta Wildlife Conservancy Safari

Ol Pejeta conservancy is set between Mt Kenya and Aberdare Ranges and is cut across by Equator line. Africa’s most iconic species hunt, graze, breed and fight for survival on the plains of Ol Pejeta every day, in an ecosystem that has the highest densities of wildlife in Kenya outside of the Maasai Mara. We will be involved in game drives both morning and afternoon and amazing lion tracking. In the conservancy, we have the Sweet waters chimpanzee sanctuary. It provides refuge to orphaned and abused chimpanzees from West and Central Africa. Over the last decade, Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary has been compelled to keep accepting chimpanzees rescued from traumatic situations.

What To Expect

    Day 1: Nairobi to Olpejeta
  • Ol Pejeta Conservancy

    Depart Nairobi and proceed north, driving through the beautiful sceneries to Sweetwater’s Tented Camp to begin your 3 days safari. Sweetwater’s land, the Ol Pejeta Conservancy and its sumptuous ranch were once the private domain of famed multi-millionaire, Adnan Kashoggi. We visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, a charming haven established by the Jane Goodall Institute to provide sanctuary to orphaned chimps, and the specially protected and fenced refuge of Black Rhino with its stunning forty specimens! In fact Sweetwater’s boasts excellent game viewing with the highest ratio of game to area of any park or reserve in Kenya. Enjoy an evening game drive and a visit to the Chimpanzee conservancy. Dinner and overnight at Serena sweet waters tented camp.
