4 Days Special Lake Naivasha - Masai mara safari ( minimum 2 persons)

The rich flora around Lake Naivasha attracts a variety of animals that include buffalo, antelope, giraffe, warthog and monkey, and you will almost certainly catch sight of hippos lazily watching proceedings from the cooling water. The highest and purest of the Great Rift Valley’s lakes, Naivasha also plays host to a variety of birdlife; more than 400 species have been recorded here. Many can be spotted along the shoreline – from pelicans and fish eagles to weavers and warblers. Nearby Hell’s Gate National Park is well worth a visit, to see its spectacular canyons, hot springs and wildlife, as is Born Free author Joy Adamson’s house.

What To Expect

    Day 1: NAIROBI - LAKE NAIVASHA
  • Lake Naivasha

    Pick up from the hotel at 7:30am, drive along Nairobi - Naivasha highway for 85kms. Stop over at Narok for coffee and proceed to Lake Naivasha. You will enter the park and start a game drive.This is a chance to see wild animals such as buffalos,antelopes , giraffes, warthogs, monkeys,hippos and over 400 species of birds. Proceed with the game drive en route Naivasha Sopa Lodge where you will check in and have lunch at around 1:00pm. Relax until 3:00pm after which you will depart for evening game drive till 6:30pm. Back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.(Naivasha Sopa Lodge)

    • Day 2: LAKE NAIVASHA - MASAI MARA
  • Maasai Mara National Reserve

    This day is extra ordinary, wake up at 6:00 am and have a cup of tea or coffee.Proceed for a morning game drive until 9:30am. Back to the lodge for main breakfast. At 10:00am you will check out of the lodge and proceed to Masai mara National Reserve a distance of 300kms through Mt. Longonot with the outstanding scenic views and high concentration of wildlife arriving at Masai mara in the evening. Check in and have lunch at Mara Intrepids. Rest for an hour and go for a evening game drive (optional). Back to the lodge at 6:30pm for dinner and overnight at Mara Intrepids.

    • Day 3: Explore masai mara National Reserve
  • Maasai Mara National Reserve

    Wake up at 5.30 am for a cup of coffee followed by an early morning game drive and back to the lodge at around 8:30 am for a full breakfast. After breakfast proceed for another game drive visiting Mara River for hippos, crocodiles and the migration point of the wild beasts. Dinner and overnight at Mara Intrepids.
