What To Expect

Day 1: Complimentary first night at Ibis Styles Hotel and free airport transfer.

• Arrive at Nairobi airport and transfer to Ibis Styles Hotel (on bed and breakfast basis) and get oriented with your guide. Check in, relax and your guide will help you to orientate yourself on places to visit within Nairobi.

Day 2: Nairobi to Lake Naivasha

• Start the trip to Lake Naivasha. You will make a scheduled stop at the view point on the side of the escarpment to enjoy the view of the Rift valley floor from a birds eye view. The rift valley system was formed 5 million years ago and the rift runs from the red sea through Ethiopia and Kenya and Tanzania. The rift valley is an active volcanic area and has some of the most interesting features including more than 8 lakes, dormant and active volcanic mountains and hotsprings and geysers like the Olkaria geothermal wells and Lake Bogoria geysers. You can actually see the volcanic Mt Suswa and Mt Longonot from this high place with their evergreen craters and the undulating green rift valley floor. The view from here is just amazing. Make sure to take as many photos from here as you can.

• Hell's Gate National Park

  Thereafter, depart to Hell's Gate National Park for a mini safari. Hell’s gate is one of the world’s park where you can walk and ride bicycle while watching animals.

  While in lake Naivasha boat ride our captain will explain to you different bird species and you will see hippo and enjoy the spectacular picturesque landscape.

Day 3: Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru National Park
• Lake Nakuru National Park

  Departure to Lake Nakuru National park for a special sighting of the rare black rhino one of the big five game. Enjoy a full day game drive with picnic lunch, later you will leave for lanet matfam where you will spend the night.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve
• Maasai Mara National Reserve

  Start the safari to Mara National Reserve with packed lunch. Arrive in the afternoon and check in at AA Lodge. Later, you will have an afternoon game drive that is about 2 hours. You will return to the lodge where you will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 5: Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara
• Maasai Mara National Reserve

  Spend the full day exploring Mara in search of the Big Five. You will have picnic lunch in the Reserve as you scale the Mara beauty sited at the banks of Mara river. Optional: In the evening, Visit the local Maasai village for a cultural tour at USD 20. Learn about the community and interact with the local people. A balloon safari at USD 380 per person can be organized early morning on this day then proceed with the normal program. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place.meal BLD

• Mara River

  The river is in Mara Region and lies across the migration path of ungulates in the Maasai Mara/Serengeti game reserves. The famous wildebeest migration is a sight to behold as the millions of gnus and thousands of zebras and gazelles cross the Mara River into the Serengeti in Tanzania. The crossing is a feast for the crocodiles in the Mara as well as lions, leopards, and other predators.

Day 6: Masai Mara National Reserve to Serengeti National Park

• Early breakfast and depart for Serengeti National Park via Isebania Border with packed lunch. Arrive at the border at lunchtime, and process visas. Meet our Tanzanian driver with a 4WD Land cruiser. You will be driven to the camp with game drive enroute. Check in at Serengeti Wildebeest Camp in Serengeti for overnight stay.

  Breakfast at 7 a.m. Full-day game drive in Serengeti and Set out for the endless open plains and stunning skies of the Serengeti, a world heritage site which is home to abundant wildlife and birdlife, explore the endless plains dotted with trees and kopjes from which the majestic Lions watch their kingdom from. picnic lunch at 1 p.m., then back to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Lake Manyara to Tarangire National Park
• Tarangire National Park
