    After your private pickup from Athens relaxe as your driver will lead you to Delphi. Once there, head to the UNESCO-listed mountainside archaeological site, one of Greece’s most significant. Next, tour the ruins and shed light on the site’s oracle, an ancient priestess who conveyed messages from the god Apollo. Admire the Temple of Apollo and other monuments, and then visit the Archaeological Museum to view its artifacts, including the Charioteer of Delphi and Sphinx of Naxos.   • Monastery of Hosios Loukas

    Hosios Loukas is a historic walled monastery situated near the town of Distomo, in Boeotia, Greece. It is one of the most important monuments of Middle Byzantine architecture and art.and has been listed on UNESCO's World Heritage Sites, along with the monasteries of Nea Moni and Daphnion. If the church of the Virgin Mary impresses you with its external appearance, the Katholicon of the monastery surprises you with the multicoloured marble revetments, while the ceilings are illuminated by the mosaics with the golden background (11th century AD).

  • Day 2: Meteora Monasteries & Thermopylae
  • Meteora

    After a celicious breakfast at Arachova or Delphi, start your drive to reach Meteora. Pass by mountains and valleys and reach this unique place. Enjoy a walk and visit up to 3 Monasteries at Meteora, the UNESCO world heritage listed monasteries. Breathtakingly surreal and serenely spiritual, the MetĂŠora monasteries spring forth from a dreamy landscape of rocky megaliths in the plains of the Thessaly Valley. The first hermits came to this far-removed corner of Greece at least as early as the 11th century to withdraw from the world and contemplate divinity. Meteora means "middle of the sky", and with their exalted heights and almost mystical inaccessibility, the MetĂŠora monasteries seem to soar towards heaven and reflect the human striving for holiness.
