What To Expect

    Day 1: Athens - Delphi - Village of Arachova - Meteora and Sunset tour
  • Delphi Ancient Town

    You will be picked up from your accommodation to start your tour. Continuing our trip we will reach Delphi. We will visit Castalia Spring, visit at the archaeological site and view the monument of the Argive Kings, the treasury of the Athenians, the Athenian Stoa, the Polygonal Wall, the monument of Platea and the Temple of Apollo famous for its oracle and Delphi museum, with its spectacular exhibits include the frieze of the Treasury of the Sifnians, the Naxian Sphinx, the Statue of Antinoos the metopes of the Athenian treasury, the famous bronze Charioteer, originally created to commemorate a victory during the 476 B.C. Pythian Games, and many other artifacts.

  • Arachova

    We will visit the traditional and cosmopolitan Village of Arachova,! Have a lunch break (paid by you) at the Greek taverna with panoramic view and taste the traditional cheese, Arachova’s formaela, in various forms, before we depart for Meteora.

  • Kalambaka

    Leave Arachova and driving to Meteora. Upon reaching at Meteora in Kalambaka, you can check in at your hotel and then we will witness the breathtaking sunset at Meteora. Be amazed by the natural beauty of the rock formations and the fascinating way monasteries are perched atop the cliffs, creating a truly awe-inspiring sight. Enjoy the sunset around the rocks

    After your breakfast, start a tour at the awe-inspiring landscapes of Meteora, where centuries-old monasteries sit atop massive rock pillars, creating one of Greece’s most remarkable sights. After a scenic drive, you'll visit some of the monasteries that remain active to this day, each showcasing unique architectural styles, intricate frescoes, and ancient artifacts. Learn the history of these UNESCO World Heritage Sites, detailing how monks and nuns established these secluded retreats as places of worship and refuge. Walk along the paths once used by pilgrims and monks, enjoy panoramic views of the Pindus Mountains, and gain insight into the spiritual significance and enduring traditions of Meteora. This memorable stop adds a spiritual and historical depth to your journey before you return to Athens.

  • Battlefield of Thermopylae

    Afterwards, we will return to Athens with a short stop at Thermopylae to admire the statue of Leonidas as a memorial of the battle of the 300 Spartans against thousands of Persian soldiers of the Persian Empire.
