What To Expect

Day 1: Fly from ANTANANARIVO- MORONDAVA

• Transfer from the Airport to Morondava town or to the Hotel depending on the flight schedule.

Day 2: Drive from MORONDAVA to KIRINDY FOREST
• Kirindy Forest Morondava Madagascar

  This is the start of the adventure by 4WD to Kirindy forest which is about 50 km from Morondava, passing by the well-known place “Baobab Avenue”. Visit of this reserve to see some Lemurs (white, brown …), some birds, reptiles, above all the first predator of Lemur (Fosa).From dusk, night walk for spotting “Mouse Lemur” and some species of nocturnal animals.

Day 3: KIRINDY- BELO- BEKOPAKY
• Tsingy de Bemaraha Strict Nature Reserve

  Right after the breakfast, the next trip by 4WD to Belo sur Tsiribihina, but crossing the Tsiribihina river by ferry before getting in Belo town, the place where you can have a break for lunch. Then, drive to Bekopaky village by crossing the river of Manambolo which is the gateway to the Tsingy of Bemaraha.

Day 4: Visit of the SMALL TSINGY
• Tsingy de Bemaraha Strict Nature Reserve

  The river trip on Manambolo by local boat (pirogue) is the 1st step; to see some beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. Watching the Ancestors’ (VAZIMBA) tomb is the last part of the Gorge of Manambolo tour. After that, you go directly to the small Tsingy where you start walking. • To see: The unique rock structure view from canopy, the dancing lemur which is called Decken’s Sifaka, the common brown lemur, some species of birds, the famous succulent plant (Pachypodium or elephant foot)…

Day 5: Visit of the BIG TSINGY (Harness is provided by the Park)
• Tsingy de Bemaraha Strict Nature Reserve

  Early in the morning, drive to the big tsingy which is situated at about 17 km from Bekopaka village (about 1 hour drive on off-road). • You can choose between the 4h or 6h hikes (depending on your physical condition). • To see: The unique rock structure view from canopy, the dancing lemur which is called Decken’s Sifaka, the common brown lemur, some species of birds, the famous succulent plant (Pachypodium or elephant foot)… • Caves, the famous suspension bridge, some panoramic view from the top of the Big Tsingy after “Via Ferrata”. Back to the hotel and relax.

Day 6: Drive back to MORONDAVA

• After the breakfast, drive back to Morondava by 4WD again, turning towards the place of the Majestic LOVERS BAOBAB, and then passing by the BAOBAB Avenue or Alley for the wonderful and intense colors with a dominant red from the sunset. Then drive to Morondava
