What To Expect
Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara
Today, we depart Nairobi at 5:30 AM and drive through the Great Rift Valley Escarpment towards Maasai Mara. Weather permitting, stop-over for a few minutes to take photos. Arrive at your hotel and check in. Carry your picnic lunch and head into the Maasai Mara Game Reserve for a Half Day of Game Viewing. Here, you will search for the Big 5 among others. Time-allowing, drive to the Mara River for a Chance to See the Wildebeest Migration Routes, Hippo Families and Crocodiles. Head back to the camp for dinner and overnight at Sunset. Enjoy a Bonfire at the Camp under the stars, weather permitting.
