What To Expect

    Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park (250 km: Approx. 4 hrs drive)
  • Amboseli National Park

    0730hrs: Pick up from your Nairobi area hotel / residence or Nairobi airport. Depart for the Amboseli National Park via the Nairobi – Mombasa road The morning drive is via typical African savanna country dotted with local homesteads and colorful Masai herdsmen grazing their cattle. Arrive at the Amboseli National Park in time for lunch. Take a midday rest and later venture into the park for the scheduled afternoon game viewing drive. We shall be in search of elephant, giraffe, zebra, lion, cheetah, warthog, ostrich and many others. Mount Kilimanjaro dominates the skyline and surrounding countryside. It is the highest in Africa and the tallest free-standing mountain in the world. Mount Kilimanjaro with its snow–capped peak shall dominate the background while we marvel at the wildlife and scenery -weather permitting. Overnight at Amboseli AA Lodge.

    • Day 2: Full Days Amboseli National Park Descovery

    Rising early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit, with a packed lunch provided. An Optional visit to a Maasai village can be planned after breakfast. This visit reveals the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. Despite its changing habitat, Amboseli National Park is possibly the best wildlife area in the whole of Africa to experience elephants at close range.
