Amboseli is home to an abundance of mammals and over 400 species of birds. Plains game, lions, cheetahs and vast herds of elephants wander freely. The area is dominated by the stunning spectacle of Mount Kilimanjaro. Safari route takes you to Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru. Around Lake Nakuru a game reserve has been created where the endangered black rhino is protected and may be seen along with antelope, giraffes, lions and hyenas. At Lake Naivasha there is plenty for all the family to do. Not only can you go horse riding or cycling, but the main attractions are the 450 species of birds which have been recorded in and around this freshwater lake. Finally into the world-famous Masai Mara, one of the world's most enthralling wildlife theatres. The reserve plays host to countless species, including the 'big five' (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo) and the incredible spectacle of the annual wildebeest migration.
