Day 1: Arrival - Blue Lagoon

  When you arrive in Iceland, your guide will be waiting to greet you at the arrival hall, marking the exciting beginning of your adventure. We will start our journey with a visit to the iconic Blue Lagoon. Here, you can unwind in the warm, mineral-rich waters, allowing them to soothe and refresh you, preparing you for the incredible experiences that lie ahead in Iceland. As part of your experience, you will be joining the unique in-water mask booth, where you can enjoy a rejuvenating silica mask. The lagoon also offers a sauna, steam room, and an in-water bar. And when you book with us, you’ll receive a complimentary beverage to enjoy while you relax. Feel free to indulge in the silica mask as much as you like — it’s available for your use throughout your visit. After a day of relaxation and exploration, we will spend the night near the charming town of Borgarnes, ready to continue our journey the following day.

Day 2: Snæfellsnes Peninsula
• Ytri Tunga Beach

  Our first stop will be Ytri Tunga Beach, a peaceful sandy stretch with a little secret tucked away by the sea, just behind the farmhouses—a seal colony! This tranquil spot is a favorite for seals, who love to bask on the rocks along the shoreline. These friendly and curious creatures often climb up onto the rocks, offering you the perfect opportunity to spot them from a distance and enjoy their playful antics in their natural habitat.

• Arnarstapi

  We will then head to the Arnarstapi Fishing Village Hellnar & Arch, a charming spot nestled along stunning coastal cliffs. These cliffs were formed when glowing magma met the wild waves of the Atlantic Ocean, creating a striking landscape. Often considered the most beautiful harbor in Iceland, Arnarstapi offers breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding nature. Over thousands of years, erosion has shaped the land, creating magnificent stone arches and a remarkable marine geyser. As we take a leisurely walk along the coastline, your guide will share the fascinating tale of Bárður, the half-man, half-troll figure of local legend, and recount some of his mischievous deeds in the area.

• Budakirkja

  We’ll visit next, the charming Búdakirkja, the Black Church of Búdir, located on the southern coast of the peninsula. This quaint village is home to just a hotel and this striking little church, which stands alone amidst a field of rugged lava rocks. Originally built in 1703, the church was reconstructed in 1987 after a passionate member of the community advocated for its restoration. It holds a historic graveyard and even features a bell and chalice from the time of its construction. Now a listed building, Búdakirkja is owned by the National Museum of Iceland but is cared for by the local Búdir parish. With its romantic and serene atmosphere, this picturesque chapel is a truly captivating site, making it an unforgettable stop on our journey.

  We will then head to Reykholt, one of Iceland’s most historically significant sites. This village was the home of Snorri Sturluson, one of the most important figures of the Middle Ages.

  We’ll start the day with a visit to Hvitserkur, an impressive 15-meter-tall basalt rock formation visible from the black-sand beach. This striking island is often compared to a dragon or rhino, with its unique shape capturing the imagination of many. Hvitserkur has even appeared in numerous advertisements, showcasing its iconic and mysterious silhouette.

We’ll take a city tour to explore some of its highlights, including the charming Christmas House and the stunning Akureyrarkirkja, a striking church that towers over the town. If you’re visiting during the summer, we’ll also have the opportunity to take a relaxing stroll through the beautiful Botanical Gardens of Akureyri, where vibrant flowers bloom in a peaceful setting.

  Next, we’ll head to Goðafoss, a breathtaking waterfall that plunges over a 12-meter-high curved precipice. Day 5: The Eastfjords

  We’ll start the day by driving along the stunning East Fjords of Iceland, where the dramatic landscapes will take your breath away. If you’re visiting during the summer, we’ll make a detour to Borgarfjarðarhöfn to visit the natural habitat of the puffins, offering you the chance to see these charming birds up close.

  In the town of Djúpivogur, you’ll visit Eggin í Gleðivík, an outdoor art installation by renowned Icelandic artist Sigurður Guðmundsson. Also, while we go through Eastfjords, keep an eye out for wild reindeer—permanent residents of the East Fjords—who may make a graceful appearance along your route.

Day 6: Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon

  This remarkable 200-meter-deep glacial lagoon, fed by Breiðamerkurjökull—an outlet glacier of Europe’s largest ice cap—constantly receives enormous icebergs throughout the year. These icebergs drift southward, filling the lagoon with floating ice. During the summer months, you have the opportunity to book an exhilarating boat ride through the lagoon, offering an up-close view of these ancient ice formations. If you prefer to stay on land, a peaceful walk alongside the lagoon will allow you to admire the breathtaking scenery and the serene silence of Icelandic nature.

During the summer months, from June to August, this area also becomes a haven for bird enthusiasts, with puffins and other rare seabirds nesting along the cliffs.

Day 8: South Coast
• Skogafoss

  Further east along the coast is Skógafoss waterfall. Skógafoss is an incredibly picturesque sight. Tucked in a little gorge, the river Skógá tumbles down a 60-meter cliff before continuing down the landscape towards the Atlantic Ocean. Alongside the gorge, a staircase can take you to the shelf above the waterfall for stunning views. See if you can count your steps on your way up.

• Seljalandsfoss waterfall

  Next, we’ll visit Seljalandsfoss, another iconic waterfall that will immediately capture your attention with its powerful presence. The experience truly begins when you hear the roar of the waterfall announcing your arrival. If you're ready for an unforgettable adventure, we’ll put on a raincoat and take a short hike behind the falls, where you’ll be surrounded by the sheer force of the water. The view from behind the waterfall, along with the trembling ground beneath your feet, will create a scene that’s guaranteed to be an Instagram favorite!

Day 9: Golden Circle
• Thingvellir National Park

  We’ll begin our day at Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates are slowly drifting apart. This rare geological phenomenon offers one of the clearest views of continental drift in the world. Þingvellir is also home to Iceland’s largest natural lake, teeming with diverse bird and fish life. Beyond its natural beauty, this site holds deep historical significance—Iceland’s first parliament (Alþingi) was established here in 930 A.D., making it one of the oldest parliaments in the world. The name “Þingvellir” translates to “Parliament Plains” in Icelandic.

• Geysir

  Continue to the Geysir Geothermal Area, home to vibrant hot springs and erupting geysers.
